How does the Ella stack up…

I realize that all of my past few blogs have been about sex toys but well, what can I say, I fucking love them and am finally starting to acquire more of them. If you recall, I recently became the proud owner of the Ella:

I know a lot of people have talked and gushed about the Ella and well, it kind of deserves it because it’s a pretty great, simple, beautiful toy. However, this is not the be all end all of G-spot toys for me. When I first started using it, it actually took me quite awhile to get used to the silicone since I’m so used to glass. After I did though, I must say that I really love the way silicone feels. Another thing it took me awhile to get used to was the lack of a textured handle; my cunt seriously eats up this toy and it’s very easy for me to lose grip on it in the midst of thrusting once things get slippery. It sounds a little strange that it’s easier for me to keep hold of a dildo made from smoother material but it’s the handle on my Bent Graduate that makes it easy for me. Another odd thing that happens with the Ella is that the G-spot curve sometimes gets caught inside me for just a moment or two because it’s a bit more hooked; usually when I’m sitting up rather than laying down. It doesn’t hurt and it’s not really a problem but it threw me out of my masturbation groove the first few times it happened.

I love the way the Ella feels inside me (especially the non-curved part; it feels full but not huge) but the G-spot end doesn’t really hit my spot, not like my Bent Graduate (I know I’m comparing these two but well, the Bent Graduate is my only basis for comparison right now). The curve of the Bent Graduate starts in the middle of the insertable part of the toy whereas the Ella is more of a sudden hook, like I said before:

If the Ella were a few inches longer (so my cunt doesn’t gobble up most of it and so it actually hits my G-spot), I feel like it’d be perfect for me. But despite all that, it’s still a really great toy and perfect, I think, for anyone looking for a starter dildo or for people who are having trouble with finding their G-spot or having squirting orgasms. I got mine for about $30 so it’s one of the most affordable luxury dildos on the market and one of Lelo’s cheapest products so it’s a great deal and a lovely addition to a toy collection. It may not be my go-to toy but I’m still glad to have it.
